ART: GERMAN MUSEUM WILL RETURN TIEPOLO TO ITALIAN FAMILY
A painting by Tiepolo stolen in Paris in 1979 will be returned to an Italian family. The Court of Appeals of Celle, in Lower Saxony, issued an order whereby “The Miraculous Healing of the Irate Son” is to be handed over by Hannover’s Landesmuseum, where it is now exhibited, to the Ferrari family of Valbona.
