KENYA: PRE-PAID CARD FOR DRINKING WATER SUPPLY
People living in the suburbs of a city in Kenya will buy their drinking water with a pre-paid card. The innovative system developed by the water supply company of Kisiumu (Kiwasco) will be implemented in the area of Nyalenda to engender ongoing, consistent revenue from selling water. The new method for measuring water consumption will be launched this month and will be provided by the Namibia-based company TagMeter Namibia. .
