TENNIS: SERENA WILLIAMS NOT UP FOR MASTERS OR FED CUP

Serena Williams will return to action in 2011. The US star tennis player, n. 2 world champion, wrote on her website that she was “done for 2010”. The younger Williams sister’s statement said “It is with deep frustration that I am withdrawing from the Masters at Doha and the Fed Cup final with Italy”. Like her sister Venus who injured her knee, Serena will remain on the sidelines for the rest of the 2010 season.
