UN REPORTS 4 MLN HOMELESS DUE TO PAKISTAN FLOODS

The UN has doubled its estimate of people made homeless by the Pakistan floods from 2 to 4 million. They are the worst ever to hit the country. Spokesman for the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Maurizio Giuliano reported: “According to rough estimates, over 4 million people in Sindh and Punjab still do not have a roof on their head.”
