Tickets to see the France Luxembourg Euro 2012 Championship qualifier match are selling for as much as 100 euros on unofficial sites.
Touts are selling tickets for nearly twice the cover price for the match at Metz Stade Saint-Symphorien after they sold out from official sources.
Normally the cover price ranges from 20 to 60 euros but Ebay vendors were advertising single tickets for tonight’s match for up to 100 euros.
The match between neighbours is expected to be a fraught one with Luxembourg Luc Holtz warning players to learn lessons from France’s other adversaries Romania and Belarus.
“Belarus has shown us that it is possible to win against France. There is a way of doing it. We must defend well, be well-organised and very determined. We also need to be more disciplined.”
Altogether 2,200 Luxembourg fans are expected to attend the qualifier, which starts at 9pm.
Buses have beeen drafted to help transport viewers to the stadium to avoid long traffic jams. Meanwhile motorists travelling between Metz and Luxembourg tonight are warned to expect some delays on the motorway because of the vast volumes of traffic expected.
