MARONI, PAGANO ARREST A BLOW AGAINST CRIME

Minister for the Interior, Roberto Maroni, has congratulated the Chief of Police over the arrest of Cesare Pagano. “The State’s powerful and focused attitude to crime is unrelenting”, said Maroni. “Again today, thanks to the excellent work of the Flying Squad in Naples in arresting one of the Camorra’s most sought-after criminals, another major victory against organised crime has been scored. This is an investigative success at the highest level, on which I have even been congratulated by the Chief Procurator in Naples, Giandomenico Lepore”.
