AL QAEDA STYLE ATTACK KILLS FIVE IN YEMEN

An Al Qaeda style attack in southern Yemen killed 5 soldiers and injured another. Official sources in the province of Shabwa where the attack occurred, report that this was the third attack on a military convoy in the space of a week. Also today a violent clash took place in the north of the country between Shiite rebels and Republican Guard. At least 20 people died in the fighting.
