FIERCE HEAT CAUSES FRUIT SALES TO DOUBLE
The fierce heat over the last week caused fruit sales to double, according to Coldiretti. The farmers’ association said that 20.3 million Italians ate fruit at both lunchtime and suppertime, although there are still roughly a million people who have never tried it.
