FINANCE: SPANISH PM NOT PLANNING FURTHER ECONOMIC MEASURES

Madrid – Spanish Premier Jose Luis Zapatero has guaranteed that his government is not planning further economic measures. Zapatero spoke after a meeting with IMF CEO Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Spain has just recently approved a series of austerity measures addressed at reducing the country’s debt. Zapatero also said that the stress tests for banks are key initiatives for transparency.
